Ben joined The Refuge in January of 2017. Prior to coming to The Refuge, Ben served at Living Waters Fellowship in Des Moines from 2009 to 2015. In 2015 Ben and his family moved to Winterset to be part of Redeemer Church. Along with serving on the staff of The Refuge, Ben serves on staff part-time at Redeemer Church doing counseling and administration. CJ McMurry
Refuge Founder and Program Director C.J. and his wife Misty have been blessed with 6 children and 3 grandchildren. He serves as an elder at Redeemer Church in Winterset and is a Regional Director for TAC (The Addiction Connection) as well as serving on the TAC Network board. CJ’s heart and passion are to see more and more people come to know Jesus Christ and to be transformed by God’s Word and the work of The Holy Spirit.
